 About IFITU تصغير
The Independent Federation of Iraqi Trade Unions (IFITU), was set up in 2003 after the Regime Change and has 28 Trade Unions, with a membership of 10,000, 20% of who are women. 

ACTIVITIES

The IFITU organises and directs campaigns on issues such as:
  • the respect and defence of trade union and workers' rights,
  • the work to call off all the previous trade unions that related to dectatoreship,
  • the eradication of forced and child labour,
  • the promotion of equal rights for working women,
  • the environment,
